Wartune Kabam Server Merges for 8/15 @ 3:00 AM EDT

A server merge is scheduled for Friday, the 15th of August beginning at 3:00 AM EDT (0:00 PDT, 8:00 AM GMT, and 3:00 PM GMT +8). These servers will be down for approximately 4 to 6 hours to allow for adequate testing, but could be longer. Please watch this thread for any updates or changes. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates or changes to the merge.


The following servers to be merged are:

East Coast Servers

• Kabam Server S87 and Kabam Server S89 will be merging together.
• Kabam Server S91 and Kabam Server S93 will be merging together.
• Kabam Server S95 and Kabam Server S97 will be merging together.

West Coast Server

• Kabam Server S79 and Kabam Server S86 will be merging together.
• Kabam Server S88 and Kabam Server S90 will be merging together.
• Kabam Server S92 and Kabam Server S94 will be merging together.
• Kabam Server S96 and Kabam Server S99 will be merging together.

In order to avoid the loss of any character information, please refrain from making any new characters on these servers until after the merge has been completed.

To help with potential name conflicts, we will be removing unused characters that fit the following strict guidelines:

• A character must not have logged in within the last 45 days.
• Be under level 12 and their castle must be on the Twilight Coast.
• Have no Balens.
• Have no record of ever recharging.
• Not be in a guild.

Only a character who meets all five of the conditions above will be deleted.

All character data will be preserved (including items, skills, pets, stats, mounts, Gold, Honor, Honor ranking, Daru, Kyanite, Balens, Vouchers, level, Battle Ranking, Academy information, Friend lists, Astrals and VIP statuses). Guild membership, friends and black listed players will be preserved. Current quest progress will also be preserved. The only thing that will change is that all player's Castles will move to Twilight Coast. The Server Rankings list will be cleared, but will repopulate the next time it updates after the merge is complete.

Character Names:

• A character's name will only be changed if characters on different servers have the same name. In that case, the character on the newer server will have -S## added to the end of their name. For Example: RoryWilliams on Boneyard (S17) would be RoryWilliams-S17 after the merge, but only if there was a RoryWilliams on S12.
• Upon logging into your character after the merge, if your name was changed to include -S17, a popup window will open up allowing you the chance to change your name. To continue the example, RoryWilliams-S17 would log in and get a window asking to change his name. He could change it to RoryPond and the -S17 would be removed from his name.

Guild Names:

• A Guild's name will only be changed if guilds on different servers have the same name. In that case, the guild leader of the guild on the newer server will get a popup window upon logging in to change the name of their guild.
• Should the guild leader choose not to change the name of their guild, they will not be able to access their guild interface. Attempts to access the guild interface will only open the name change popup until the Guild's name is changed.
• Guild members will also be unable to access their guild interface until the name is changed.
• After the Server Merge, the Official Website, server names, and login entrance will remain the same. Players will login to their character though their original server. If a player has a character on both servers, you will continue to access the same character associated with a particular server as before the merge.

S13/S11 had a thread up with about 9 pages of people asking for a merger, and we never got one (also have wbs with less then 10 archers in them every once in a while). So good luck getting one. We are about a year and a half dry for a merge. And still need one *hint hint* R2.

This is what mods have recommended to get a merge:
1.) Make a support thread for a merger for your server, and get as many people from your server as you can to post on it and show their support.
2.) Send in support tickets referencing the thread, and have as many people from your server do the same thing.
3.) Ask mods to forward your tickets.

Basically, the entire goal is to make as much of a ruckus as possible, and hope that the G.M's take notice, and take pitty, and will give you a merger. Whether or not any of this works, I can not say (as my server's attempt to get a merger failed miserably) but I suppose it is the best option that any of us have.

What a surprise, Kabam/R2 run around creating several US servers every week - and then a month or so later merge them. Meanwhile old, european servers are left to dwindle and die.

We- S11/13- have asked for a server merge SINCE APRIL!!!!!! We have done what we were told to do- started a thread- had players post to it ect ect ect- NOTHING!!! MOST OF THOSE WHO HAVE/HAD POSTED HAVE QUIT!!! SERIOUSLY?? W - T - F! MOST WB's dont even have 10 archers!?!? I am the Asst GM of one of the biggest guilds on the server WE HAVE ONLY BTWN 10 AND 20 PEOPLE FOR TREE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. WHAT YA GOING TO DO??? WAIT UNTIL THERE IS 3 PEOPLE LEFT IN THE ENTIRE SERVER? HEY HOW ABOUT WE QUIT SPENDING $$$$$ WOULD THAT GET YOUR ATTENTION??? You missed some... Why are all the ones getting merges the newbie servers? Why not merge all the west coast servers under 50 together? lol. They all dying, FIX it instead of making new ones, but it seems highly improbable they actually care, since there doesn't seem to be any activity level/cashing amount that leads to a merge.

Yes, our server is less than three months old but we were always pretty dead. Two days after our server launched, s98 was launched. Then a week later s99 and s100 were launched. We lost A LOT of ppl to s100 because of their deals and what not.

This is absolutely disgusting. You set up a forum thread asking servers their opinion...then you completely disregard it and tell them to **** off basically. This settles it I absolutely refuse to spend anymore damn money on this game. Theres no point because in about a month my server will be completely shut down at the rapid rate people are quitting the game.
