how do you change an inactive duke of alliance

Thanks - it was justthe last part that was my question - I will tell her she can remain on the other server and still be Duke.

Our alliance holds Winterfell on server 237 with the rest of the alliance on server 142. Our Duke (server 237) has been gone for over 2 weeks and we are afraid he may never come back . So we have a replacement in mind but she is on server 142, not on the Winterfell 237 server. Can anyone on 237 in our alliance take Winterfell castle (faster another alliance takes the castle first) an still nominate our Duke who is NOT located on 237 but rather is on our second server - 142?

As I said directly above: If the Duke has been offline for over 3 days, then a rank IV, Knight, Diplomat, or Banker can dismiss the leader, as long as the alliance does not currently hold any Great Cities. If your alliance does hold a Great City, you will need another alliance to take it during the next Siege. If your alliance does not have any officers, then I am not sure if lead can be passed.

So, to answer your question "Can anyone on 237 in our alliance take Winterfell castle (faster another alliance takes the castle first) an still nominate our Duke who is NOT located on 237 but rather is on our second server - 142?" - You would need another alliance, or an alt in its own alliance, to take ownership of the great city, and any other great cities on any other kingdoms that your alliance owns, if any. You need a rank IV or higher member to dismiss the current Duke. That person can make anyone in the alliance Duke, kingdom doesn't matter for that. Once the Duke is swapped, you can fight for any great cities you want.
