Yes, you are actually enhancing the wing slot and not the wings itself so if you equip a different wing the levels will remain.

Ive heard that having 2 different sets of wings will stack as far as bonuses go. Is this true and if so how do you go about doing it. Same for clothing and mount glamours?

Yes, afaik. No work is required; once you get the second (or more) wings/clothing/mount, the game auto-stack the bonuses for you.

Someone once mentioned that there is a cap to stacking bonuses, but I'm guessing the cap probably won't matter until you have more than four...

Sweet. Im close to getting Phoenix wings but like the aesthetics of the demon wings more so I don't want to have to take them off.
