The mail is legitimate.

Patch emails are sent prior to every patch to R2Games platform players who've played Wartune at some point before a specific date. I'm not sure when the cutoff for being on the mailing list was, I've heard it was in 2016, but I do know only people who had a valid email set on their accounts before that cutoff receive emails. If you did not receive this specific email, or previous patch or platform event emails, then you are not on the mailing list.

You are unable to use the code you have got in your mail?

If you have not got the mail try looking in your spam folder that was where mine was.

If you still can not find the mail you may not be on the mailing list.
