    Clothing Engulf

Patch notes don't mention this but when you engulf clothing it has a chance to crit for extra xp. I'm not sure of the details because my character on test server is low level and only had 1 piece of clothing to engulf.

Needed 400 xp to hit level 2. Clothing was worth 300. It crit and gave me 400 though. Just figured I'd share.

thanks for the answers ladies. after reading Fherlayt's blog, it seems like we are better off with cores than charms, so i used them to get the event rewards. hopefully i don't have to regret in the future. let's wait & see.

Good thing I didn't get rid of the scores of extra clothes I have sitting in both my vault and personal inventories, LOL. I got kind of lazy to synth them, but I guess I didn't want to endure the embarrassment of getting the same basic clothing that I could have gotten in the shop, either.

These days, you take what you can get. R2's out to get us free players.

Indeed, my apologies for not seeing that.

I will say however, that the return seems to be pretty low by comparison. You should take everything you can get, but it's not exactly a great return.

    You should.

While the later levels haven't been confirmed, it has been confirmed that fashion cores give 200 exp, and level 1 clothing gives 300 exp, and level 2 clothing gives 600 exp. Therefore, you should upgrade all level 1 clothing to level 2 clothing, if upgraded by a fashion core; it's a free 100 exp. Upgrading beyond that becomes cost prohibitive, so it isn't recommended.

P.S. - I presumed you meant fashion cores, not lucky charms. You should not use any lucky charms whatsoever pre-patch.

yeah i have the inferred info. wondering if anyone could confirm it. knowing it's wartune, the pattern might not hold.

i do have some 200+ lvl1-7 clothings in the mail. wondering if i shall use the charms & turn all lvl1s into lvl2s.

Credit goes to a certain site that is banned on the forums. It seems to just double in experience every level; I do not believe they confirmed the later levels either.

Edit - Just saw that Zeak42 posted as well, via quote edit.

Additionally, are clothing pieces still recyclable (recycle for 1-4 fashion shards)?

I feel your frustration, but you essentially have basis for a suit. I wish it wasn't the case, or that someone could perhaps find a loophole or workaround, but to-date that hasn't happened. Sorry for your loss.

    According to the mods -

I believe level 12 wings currently give 8%? Everyone should see stat and percentage bonuses from the old system to the new - and the new cap should be anywhere from 10-12%.... probably. I believe it has been confirmed to go to 6%; need confirmation for higher levels.

P.S. - They apparently don't count rage as 'attributes'. Everyone will see a drop on starting rage.
