Fun math:

Lvl 8 farm using 1 hour green gold seeds: (4500*1.21-900)/0.86 = 5285 gold/hour per slot
Lvl 7 farm: (4500*1.18-900)/0.88 = 5011 gold/hour per slot
Total profit from lvl 8 farm: 2466 gold/hour

Let's say average profit from 50% buff at WB is 500k gold. Lvl 8 farm used to cost 22680 vouchers, which is 113 bosses, or 56.5 mil gold.
You need about 3 years of constantly planting 1 hour seeds in order for the lvl 8 farm upgrade to pay for itself.

not gonna check the math but not surprised that farm is more trouble than its worth - plus all the farm stealing. the timing/planting/weed/pest just isn't worth it except for the super hardcore. there's an occasional planting quest event but whatever...

Well you had to upgrade your inventory before the patch, tough luck if you didn't check the updates beforehand. Sucks for new players of course, hopefully they will do something about it.

Farm is great though, even light cashers can get lvl 10 easily.
Also it seems that we get much more b.balens per day than we used to get vouchers (considering the 20:1 rate), because dungeon chests drop 30 of them.

Could you tell us what dungeon that gives most bound balens?

I got 40 bound balens off the skele key chest in lych NM a moment ago so my guess is the 120 voucher > 40 bound balen which is basically win

all they did was create a single currency out of 2 with HORRIBLE conversion rate. Before at least you knew voucher were there to upgrade your farm and item slots. Now instead of having a currency dedicated to certain aspects of the game, you have a single currency switch your attention elsewhere, non cahser will rush for clothes and be left weak in other parts of the game.

Non-cashers finally get a chance to buy better stuff and wings.

Double skills solve the reset problem anyways.

Now you have to use the Balens ELSEWHERE, when do you upgrade your farm and inventory now? There will NEVER be a right time to upgrade them now as spending on inventory and farm will simply set you behind the pack in PVP.

By eliminating a currency all the did was make it so that new combined currency needs to spent elsewhere.

At least with Voucher part of it was always dedicated with the other aspect of the game.

With the vouchers before the new patch, I was a long way off from a level 9 farm. With the bound balens, I got myself a level 10 farm and some goodies out of the shop...

Mistake or not, I am better off with the bound balens than I was with vouchers.

So..... Think of it as a new player not someone sitting on a ton of vouchers. You are living in a box.
