    This was part of a previous post I made in reply to another thread that appears to have been deleted.

    It seams the game issue is not lag, the issue is the horrendous amount of memory and processor the game is using; check out the task manager when things start to slow down, 700meg of system memory and 80% processor used(and I have quad cores) for a browser game is ridiculous. There are full 3d games like battlefield 3 that run 1000x better than wartunes on the same pc. R2 need to address this, if they do the so called lag issue will be solved. That's why clearing the cache or refreshing the browser helps.

    Just a thought.

    Please be aware that games like Battlefield don't run in a flash/java window so they don't require as much resources clearing your cache and cookies should inprove the game

      Hence the issue, if they created a html5 version of the game perhaps. Games like Begone can run in a browser window running the unity engine and can handle full 3d multiplayer first person shooter game with no lag and still less resources than wartune. (only 245meg). I have no issue downloading a local client to run the game like LOL or BF hero's does. There is something in the code filling memory fast, without releasing it after.

        Rewriting the game is not a feasible option you can use a Auto cache/cookie clearer is you have too many problems

          If you change the local storage settings from unlimited to 0 and click "never ask again" it dumps the data on exit, however it also dumps the settings like music and sound off .

          The game does run faster like this, however the crux of the problem is still the crazy amount of memory it needs to run. there has to be something in memory they can dump after each fight to help with the problem.

            yep they obviously messed up something with the 2.1 update, and thats their job to fix it, thats certainly not to the players to clear cache and refresh the browser every 5 mins...i cant believe its been 3 weeks now and they still didnt do **** about it.
