In-game, search for the little giftbox on the top-right corner which is a tiny icon embedded on the corners of the minimap.
There will be an option to "Join VIP"

If your character has VIP, then once the servers are back up they will be in the new VIP. The old VIP is gone. Poof. No more. Hasta la Vista Baby. So if you have VIP now, you will be under the new VIP once the servers are back up, as the new VIP System is THE VIP System now.

The new VIP system is the VIP that will be active once the servers come back online. So if you have VIP for your character, the will get the benefits of the new VIP.

All current VIP Members will be affected the moment you log back into the game.
