[Guide] Beast Soul Promotion

Introduction

Welcome to Beast Soul promotion, the newest way to boost your stats. Bonus: cool mini-sidekick. Click the Beast Soul icon to the right of the skill bar to get started.

How it Works

Here you can see a Beast Soul that’s been promoted to Level 1 Tiger Soul, providing a Physical Attack and Magic Attack attribute bonus of 222 to your character. Beast Soul promotion requires Dragon Essence, which can be obtained from BOSSes in level 50+ dungeons at Nightmare difficulty, or bought in the Shop.


Normal promotion requires Dragon Essence x1 and 1 Boosted Attempt (if available). Click “Promote x10” for a bulk promotion, which uses Dragon Essence x10 and 10 Boosted Attempts (if available).


Each promotion will improve the progress of your Beast Soul, and carries a chance of landing a “Crit Hit” or a “Luck Hit”, greatly improving the progress made for that promotion.


Boosted Attempts improve your chances of getting a “Crit Hit” or “Luck Hit”. Click “Boost” to purchase Boosted Attempts with Crystal.

any rough estimates on how many DEs needed to upgrade each beast?

just used like 2 stacks a half DE to drake lvl 1 half way > seiryu
did 1x, no boosts.

Lions, tigers & Bears.... Oh My!
Is anyone willing to post a table of stat upgrades - even ranges would be good. Greyed out skills seem to indicate that there is also Seiryu and Shinryu soul levels which I didn't see listed in this thread...what else don't we know?

Are there 10 levels of each kind like the first or is the level system like sperion going up in stages as it get s to a higher level?

the beast soul has 10 levels to it and after you obtain the last lvl it morphs into a new one exp: wolf - bear -tiger etc

How many levels do you have to level it before it goes to the next one? Like from Wolf to Bear... 5 levels? 10? o.o it'd be nice to know.

I love this promotion, but with the Red Adamantine and Dragon Crystals dropping... o.o I'd say, I'm going to have a hard time getting DC more than usual now. I'd really like events that involves something to do with DE's, -.- kind of getting bored with this fat bear I have...

Why do you always gotta pay with crystals? Not everyone can just throw money on their accounts whenever they feel like it!

For beast soul, you don't have to. Boosting is optional, and you can farm DEs in 55+ dungeons. Of course using money helps because you can get VIP runs and get boosts, but it's not a requirement for this feature.

Well I wonder what fashion statement the other beast forms have: So far, I've seen "Wolf Rat" and "Bra Bear"....let's get the list going here lolol.

I like that rogues cant hide anymore not that any can kill me just funny to see priests and mages getting them outta stealth and owning them.

The mini beast needs to be recallable. While doing the delivery quest I ride on a cloaked rogue. The mini pet is still visible. This completely defeats the purpose of moving in stealth. The pet and pixie are visible while riding the cloaked rogue but we can call them back. Please fix this on the next update.
