guys, i unlocked Abysmal Guardian, but still couldnt unlock Fallen Lord, i never found him in monster jungle, how to get him?

My GMs manually resent the Monster Handbook quest to my toon during testing, and it was successful. All I had to do was login and the quest appeared after a few minutes.

just to follow up, I've been working (sort of) with R2 support who keep saying the same thing over and over, that they resent the quest and to kill the mobs and refresh.

So far this is the breakdown
first my green line is entirely opened up and actually all absorbs are done




However, the blue line is still inactive and i have no quests available (got money in screen shot to show i have more than 8.1p)




a couple times they said i had to be over lvl 95 and asked i get rid of all my active quests




So, as stated they kept saying kill the mobs again





actually at this point, i've gotten pretty much the same response every other day each time I told them it wasn't working.

I did the mobs (one of those times i actually went with another person currently doing the quest to make sure the proper ones were killed)












Quite a few times they told me to refresh after i killed those mobs to 'trigger' it

after i killed the mobs while taking the above screen shots i refreshed as requested




Still inactive

and just in case i checked Ronna

Question, has anyone ever had to go through this process?
and if you did, did you manage to get it to work?

What did you do different if you did, that I'm not doing above.
I'm getting little to no information on what i'm supposed to be seeing after I kill the mobs and refresh.

I know another series of quests is supposed to open up, however they wont until this is done

so, has anyone ever had to follow the instructions because they didn't get the quest or they got rid of it
and then put in a ticket to have it re-added
and actually gotten the blue line to open up?

were there any tricks to it?

i am above 95
have 10p+ on the character
killed the shamans and refreshed
then killed all the mobs for all of the handbook quests and refreshed

and still not getting anywhere

IF you abandon this quest there is currently no way to get it it back (the first one in the series) be wary.

it seems the bosses are random

personally i got red dragon and abysmal guardian in 2 runs, whereas other players have had fallen lord first.

from what i gather the difficulties vary too


as for absorbing the monsters stats:-
monster essence drops quite freely in the jungle although i havent seen a mark of god yet so i assume this is a pure xtal item for now but...... (im sure they will release an event for them soon)

there is a 5 per day limit if you are using the items however if you are using xtals there seems to be no limit..... unless the "150 attempts" apply on the legendary monsters

if anyone has any further info be a good sport and share it

Yes, the bosses do seem to vary. Not sure quite why. Actually in my first run I had NO bosses, in my 2nd run I had two -and neither one of them attacked me or my party member! They just stood there are let us kill them. It was funny.

As far as the attempts. If you use material, you can absorb 5 times per monster. If you use cash absord, you can do more. However, once your monster has reached its limit, it stays that way forever. Remember: these aren't temporary buffs, they're permanent stats.

Killing for the Handbook Series:

These quest lines are in the Necropolis. You need to be lvl 95+ to enter that area.

Killing for the Handbook 1:
Acquired: by opening monster handbook if you have enough gold to unlock the green monsters first (8.1p).
Zombie Shaman x 5 [The Necropolis-Bloodsed Hallow]

Killing for the Handbook 2:
Acquired: Ronna the adventurer after beating previous quest
Royal Thundermouse x5 [The Necropolis-Hell's Doorstep]

Killing for the Handbook 3:
Acquired: Ronna the adventurer after beating previous quest
Royal LavaSpiderx5 [The Necropolis-Hell's Doorstep]

Killing for the Handbook 4:
Acquired: Ronna the adventurer after beating previous quest
Dual Axe Demonx5 [The Necropolis-The Hall of Persistence]

Killing for the Handbook 5:

There are some display bugs for the first quest where it might show rewards from other quests. Just to be clear: there are NO rewards for completing these quests other than fulfilling your handbook.

About the Handbook Fragments:

Facts:

• They are direct drops that go into your bag automatically.
• They are random. My first run with only the first 2 bosses only, I got 1x Fragment 1, 10x Fragment 2, 1xFragment 4.

• They are obtainable from all 3 bosses in all difficulties
  

Possibilities that need to be verified:
- Can everyone in the party with the quest get the items since they're direct drops?
-Can people in the party and outside the dungeon get it as long as they have the quest

i got all fragments from purg bosses in normal mode

unfortunately you have to be inside to get the fragments even when in a party (dosent work like exelorn)

2 runs in Purgatory - therefore normal monster is okay - dont need to kill BOSS to get those stuffs - the monster drop LVL 1 - 2 fragment (sometimes 3), BOSS drop 3 n 4.

There r lots ppl in my guild dont get the book - even my alts. So I think u need to run the new dungeons from Roanna of the advanture - Absorb some monster from the book - and have like 8 - 10 xtals in yr chars => RELOG - back game press T to see does the Q name " Killing for Handbook 1 " appear or not. If not, i dont know )
