true, but in my experience, other paths seems to have more lightning spawns so I'd rather being slowed than getting more annoyed being sent back to checkpoints.

I won't deny that your path could be faster than mine. My intention was that people can use this path to gain experience in this event, and at least be able to complete the event, so then they could maybe make their own path. After all, this is just a beginner guide ^_^

That's pretty accurate, but I'd like to add that mages have the advantage to use scion skill when using push and drag skills, making them able to hit an opponent with their thunder and if your not strong enough they might kill you.
