    A discussion in guild chat earlier gave me an idea for a new dungeon mode: Corrupted Dungeons. In this mode normal enemies would be replaced by noticeably harder ones (potentially new enemies made to fit the idea behind that boss in the base dungeon, or potentially bosses/ mobs taken from later dungeons that have similar patterns to the enemies they are replacing). An example of such a difficulty increase would be to replace the bosses from Revenant's Vault with bosses from Purgatory. To make it worth doing these harder bosses would drop loot from the next "tier" up from what that enemy would normally drop. For example, instead of random mobs dropping chipped gems they would drop flawed ones. Instead of bosses dropping Heroic Wings they would drop Ethereal Wings. Instead of Epic Etheral Shards they would drop Epic Bloodforged Shards. For drops with no higher level ones, like Purified Crystals, have them drop more instead (such as 3 PC drop at a time instead of 1), or possibly be more likely to drop them.

    Naturally though there would be a cost for entering these new, harder dungeons. Each corrupted dungeon run would take 3 attempts instead of 1 (and use a Dungeon Key or two if you only have 1 or 2 free runs left). This would mean you could do at most 3 (4 for VIP) of each corrupted dungeon per day, as opposed to being able to run 10 (13 for VIP) of each dungeon a day now.
