I logged into my account today and its GONE my character is missing and some random named New character is there instead and wants me to start all over again from scratch...Where has my character gone? I WANT IT BACK!!

When was the last time you accessed this character? Do you remember exactly where you accessed your character from (website, client)? If it was website, and recently, double check your browser history and make sure you're accessing the game through the correct website. This game is available through several hosts, and specific characters can only be accessed through the original location the character was created on.

If you have a purchase receipt, you can also check that and make sure you're attempting to access through the correct site. Also, double check that you're logged into the correct account.

same problem with my character on S37 after yesterday's crash, just started game in mini-client and my toon is missing, just giving me option to start new one, now missing on paid VIP for the period

Please note that you can only access a character on the account it was created on, and the account can only be accessed on the platform it was created on. Make sure you're on the correct platform, then double check that you're on the correct account. If you're sure on both, send in a ticket.
