Clash merits

The game did not give my merits at the last battle during paragon. We were defending our crystal and war did not conclude until end time of the paragon. I killed 500k and lost almost same. Paragon finished and puuuf, there is nothing. It was like we were not battling for several hours. This happened in both of my accounts. This bugs become really annoying. I want an explanation and guarantee that this will never happen.
