So I loaded up the client as I've done for the past month only for it to throw a red message at me that it could not fetch any updates. Leading me to try to reinstall the client. Which in turn got me stuck on 97%. Please fix this.

There's a couple of reasons this error might be received. One is a poor connection to the server the client is hosted on. The only solution for that one is to wait and try again later if the issue is on the server's side. If the issue is on your side, some people had success after clearing their DNS cache in the command prompt. Another is an add-on or program that monitors your internet traffic, such as survey company extensions.
