You're good with weapons. I'm designing a scythe for one of my DnD characters. Any suggestions?

deppends on the type i think otherwise i just improvise i carry over some thats why they kinda resemble others too

He's a Death Mage. Sounds a little weird, but he's a melee spellcaster (though I suppose Clerics in DnD generally do that too xD). He channels most of his spells through his scythe, like a Magus if you know what that is. His scythe is an item that he attunes small trophies too, usually small bones, like knucklebones and such. Attuning those items to it mean he can be more affective against that type of creature in battle. It's made of darkwood, making it lighter weight than most scythes, but just as deadly. It will need a rather cruel, deathly look with straps and the like under the blade to make tying small trophies on easy. No large things like skulls and stuff, those are way too big and would hamper combat. xD

uhh it helps the decription of it makes sence umm do you have a sorta of a umm brief example or a concept or an example of how it's going to look if that makes sence like a demo it sounds very detailed so it would look better on photoshop i feel

At the moment, no. I've been drawing his armor and such mostly and haven't moved on to his scythe yet. Weapons are always the hardest part for me. I have in my head what I want it to look like but I'm just better at clothes xD

any reference of sorts on what you want it to look like i mean you need a base right then change the design a bit make it your own i think that'll work

I've been looking at pictures of scythes online. Found a lot of interesting fantasy designs.

I really wanted it to be a warscythe but those simply don't look as cool as a curved, sickle-scythe, even if they are more effective in combat xD
Cerberus of the Bloodsea in that second one looks more like a warscythe though. Does look kinda nifty.
