r2 games client update failed

i played this game for 6 years using browser flash and now r2 using independent client, but somehow it stuck with update client thing. im not yet found solution in forum about this problem, hoping any vet player or mod/dev will guide me to solve the problem

Uninstall the client using the Uninstall application included in the R2Games folder. Then, install the client again from the home page. If that doesn't resolve the issue for you, manually change the location where the client is trying to install itself during the installation process.

Also, for now, you can continue to play using a browser by clicking Cancel on the pop up informing you about the client.

Hi I am having the same issue and tried a few things, different browsers, clearing download/file history on browser, changing location of the file. It is not working. Please can someone advise?

Please continue to use your browser by clicking Cancel on the client info pop up until the issues with the client are resolved.

Though it's unlikely to be a game issue since you said it's been 5 days, please provide the game and server so that can be checked.

Also, please see if you can load a different server. If you can, click the Trash Can icon that will appear in the upper left portion of the banner. This will clear the client cache. If you're able to load a different server, but not your home server and you've cleared the cache, please also provide your UID, located on the R2 banner.

If you're unable to load any servers for that game, please try the following:

Open the Command Prompt
Right click the command line and select "Run as administrator"
Enter in the Command Prompt: "ipconfig /flushdns"
Clear cache on Chrome, as the client is Chrome based
Try again

If that does Not work, reset router

S231 loads fine on the R2 Client. I will need your UID, which you can find in the top portion of the screen that you left out of your screenshot.

I'm still using Adobe Flash, I'm not using the R2 client, it doesn't work on the computer I'm playing on

UID, what is that?

UID is the number next to the letters that say UID on the R2Games banner at the top of your game screen. If you look at the screenshot you provided of the black screen, you cut off the very top of it- the UID is there, where it says UID. You can also find this number at https://www.r2games.com in the upper left corner below the avatar.

I need that number.
