  • i need help

    I need help, someone came into my character and place lock password. Any administrator can help me? I know all the account information.

    Change your account password first. Then, send in a ticket to www.r2games.com/support and ask them to reset your character lock. Provide your account information in the ticket.

    In the future, do not give your account password to random people on the internet, and keep a character lock of your own on your toons so others can't access them.

      reason why ur account might be locked is for safety messures, since im pretty sure ur 1 of those who ask people to purchase vip for you, once the person from another country
      purchased vip from a card/account who is not even close to your country it might result to a safety lock, since locket account is different from "wrong password account - wrong password account is
      what people call being hacked usually.

      as i said above explains that the vip purchaser doesnt even have to be the fault but the matter of letting someone else go on account and fill up the crystals for you is ur own fault and thats why
      the safety messure steps in.

        The only way a character lock is put on a character is if an actual person sets one. There is no safety measure that kicks in and sets one.

        The only "safety measure" in place is on the payment processor side when suspicious payments are made on an account or with specific payment information. That would just result in payments being declined, but doesn't restrict access to anything else.

        What's happening is people are offering to sell or buy crystals, and people who oddly trust a complete stranger on the internet are giving out their login information, which is against the Terms of Service by the way. Sometimes the seller is a scammer who isn't selling anything, they are just stealing accounts or items. FYI: The person who gave out their login information is not entitled to support because they broke the terms of service. These scammers will put a character lock on the toon and attempt to change the password to keep the owner out. It's not a quick process to regain control, so it's wise to just not give out passwords, but since "everyone does it" as most say to justify doing it too, at the very least, put your own character locks on your toons before blindly trusting strangers on the internet.

          you wrote the answer by yourself, the information is not correct thats why the safety lockage got turned on, not first time this happening but within a few days
          they get unlocked after the card holder/account is being checked, seen this happening plenty of times.

            Except we are talking about the character lock, which is the password you enter when you attempt to click on your character to enter the game, not the payment system. The payment processor has no access to the game, and thus cannot put a character lock on. The only time character themselves becoming inaccessible as a result of a payment is when that payment has been refunded, as the character will be banned. Totally different topic than the one in the original post.
