The pet should have the stats of agility before I can place it in the agility panel?

Like for example I got my state 4 bone dragon pet. and it is a agile pet and I place all its stats to str, is it still advisable to place it in the agility panel?

Regardless of how you build any pet you intend on using as support, you only benefit from the stat labeled on the slot you are putting the pet in. If you've built an agility pet with full strength, and you put that pet in your agility slot, you still only get 100% of the agility applied to your summoned pet, and 10% applied to your character.

The type of pet in a support slot doesn't matter. It's that one stat that matters. I would advice building a full agi pet for your agi support slot.
