The Tauren pet

The Tauren is a Defensive pet. All of the defensive pets have a damage absorption rate of 25%. The Tauren's rate is 15%, so is it meant to be an offensive pet which is labeled wrong, or is it a defensive pet with the wrong absorption rate?

The whole point of a defensive pet is that it has the higher rate, so I want to know before I put all the time into leveling a defective defensive pet.
