Sorry for the late reply, but you can get points by sacrificing your pets... that's unfortunately the only way.

Points per pet:
White - 1
Green - 5
Blue - 20
Yellow - 200
Purple - 1600
Orange - 6400 (I think)

Higher stage pets are worth the number of total pets you used to get them, so a stage 3 purple pet (4 pet used) for example is worth 6400 sacrifice points.

Keep in mind if you sacrifice a pet it is gone FOREVER.
