Need advice

So, after playing for over 2 weeks, I came into a major barrier in my gameplay, that is earning gold. Considering much of what goes around in the game is centered on this currency (other than of course if you top up crystals). I found out that is not easy to farm and earn gold and this not because of how much the items sell on NPC vendors but because of the limited amount of space you can store your items. Pack expanders are so hard to come by. Even if some players do manage to sell them, they sell very expensive at a minimum of 20 gold. Buying PE with crystals is also not an option as it is very expensive at 175 crystals. Furthermore, I do not see any mobs/dungeon bosses/elites ever dropping PE. It would be nice if there was one that could drop it. Already threw away loads of items just to manage my space. I guess the game was designed like this as if forcing players to top up so I often wonder how veteran players thrive here (hope you guys could give me an advise on this).

Another problem I have is the lack of an auto-recycle/auto-sell feature here afaik. Assuming I'd like to farm for 8 hours straight, after just a few minutes to an hour, my inventory would already be full, hence limiting the amount of items I can gain profit from through selling. I'd like to buy some expanders but I can't find the opportunity to do so due limited budget. Another related problem here would be item durability. Oftentimes, even normal repair takes a great deal of gold from me since I am farming a lot. I can't settle for crappy gear since I farm difficult dungeons to get the materials needed for upgrading my wings/mounts and also get some good items to sell. Need to often do master repair and that costs a lot of gold just the same. Also, since I am
doing hard dungeons (for my current battle rating), I die a lot and that takes a great deal out from item durability not to mention my pet's loyalty.

I also noticed that much of the items you need are shop items (sot, gem remover, ARC, etc.) and even if they manage to circulate in the market, they would probably be too expensive, gold-wise. Can't help but think this game inclines more on a pay-to-win model.

I enjoy the game a lot and would like to build a good toon but all those things above are preventing me from doing so. Oftentimes I get frustrated thinking what I could possibly do to better farm gold and manage my character. Seeing that this game is already a few years old, surely people have found a way out of these situations even if they did not cash. Hope you guys could share me some pointers/tips how to play this game more efficiently and enjoy it to the fullest. Thanks.

Bizarre Dreamland, not Indigo Blight. There is no Indigo in CS2.

Getting started is a bit of a juggle. It's a lot of walking back to a town to sell off the drops you've collected to an NPC, and then going back out to get more. If you're going to be afk for a long period of time, set your AFK loot to only items, no equipment, so that you pick up gems and ancient coins from elite mobs. You can sell the gems and the coins to others so you'll earn a bit more gold. Purified Crystals tend to sell well, as they can be used to feed mounts, and generally never stop being needed.

The absolute best way to get cash shop items is to find people who cash and ask them what they would be willing to trade you for the items you need. You might need to sacrifice upgrading some things for now in order to fulfill the trade, but once you have a couple of pages open in your inventory, you'll find it's much easier to make gold.

You'll save a fair amount of gold on repairs by not grinding with your weapon equipped. Just be careful when selling items to an NPC. If you are getting close to the 5 gold repair mark, you may want to start doing Treasure Trove, as that costs 5g to enter and gives you a master hammer, you can farm for items while you're in there.

You can find most of what you need in the game for free, just some of it takes a little luck and a lot of participation in events. You get one Sands of Time for free after completing the level 50 main quest line. Off the top of my head, I can't think of the packs that sometimes have them in it. Gem Removers drop in Psychodelica. Attribute Reset Cards are a rare find at weddings.

Already did what you told me earlier, MemoryLane, I wore pristine level 20 gear whenever I farm easier dungeons and do daily quests and wore my main armor only when doing much more difficult dungeons, helps a lot with saving more gold for repairs. Haven't tried treasure trove or even attend a wedding yet, so I hope I get to try those soon.

You need an invitation to attend a wedding, which you can purchase with crystals, or talk the bride or groom into giving you one.

Getting those hard to get items is all about figuring out how the market works on your server and who is most willing to buy things with crystals to obtain other things in the game. Do keep in mind that most trades are not based on shop price and are purely based on supply and demand. A pack expander is 175 crystals, but no one is going to take 5 heroic wings for it. Make the deal sweet enough, and you'll find most people will be willing to trade.

Also, please do be aware that almost everything in the shop can be traded using the ingame Trade function. Don't ever accept a trade that doesn't have the items you are looking for in the trade panel. If someone says they will gift you the item instead of buying it and trading it, and wants you to give your items first, find someone else to trade with.

Focus on getting pack expanders early on. I made sure when I cashed that was the first thing I got. If you grind on aquatic crypts level 2 for an hour or so, come back and sell all gear. Its about 10g per page of gear.

I'll also add that it might be a good idea to either join the guild that has the land, or build up your current guild as much as possible to take it, because each 100 contribution can be traded in at the territory shop for a vault expander, and all those useful items are in no danger in the vault

Cool, thanks for all the input guys, been kinda down recently since I don't know how to manage my items, keep deleting stuff, so now I know that I should prioritize PE or VE first so I can farm better.

I can honestly say that I have 3 full pages already and 1 left on the 3rd. You can google crystal saga 2 gift code and there is a link on r2 to get one. I had to focus on it almost entirely to get it as I as I did. Now I an easily get a new pack or 2 every day.
