Can Some one explain [B] CRIT [/B]

Hey

I am a mage from and i have a crit rating shown as 109(8%) and that of my pet is 159(12%)
I still don't understand how 109 relates to 8 and 159 related to 12 can some one please help me
And how much crit is needed for 100%?

In the simplest form, the latter percentage is your critical strike chance. The higher your crit rating (103 in this case), the higher your critical strike chances. For example purposes alone, there is a Rogue toon with 2,526 crit rating and 99% crit strike damage, however crit rating alone does not exactly amount to crit chances. You can improve your crit chances through other means as well, such as with equipment and soul.

what i know the more you have crit rate, and it will increase your crit rate(%)
but crit rate percentase (%)still depent on your level
some case if you have crit rate 1000(50%) at level 50
your crit rate will be 1000(<50%) every level you increased event your crit rate still 1000
