Why S2 and S3 open so close to each other? Is there a difference between S2 and S3 server? usually cs open new server every month. Is CS2 gonna be different?

Games open servers based on overall demand for them. The release of servers on one game do not have any effect on servers released on another game.

Just click on the appropriate server from the server list, or click the Server button on the banner in game.

The servers launched so far are all PvE. As for future PvP, I'm not going to get more than a "keep an eye on the news & events" if I forward this question. But I'm thinking there probably won't be, and if there will be then it wouldn't be until they've built up a decent number of PvE servers.

The game literally came out one week ago and it has 3 servers lmfao. Please forward this to the developers. Stop worrying so much about getting more people to play, you are focusing incorrectly. You need to focus on making the game more fun by balancing systems (yes this will require the game to not be a pay to win).

What I meant was, R2 tends to release servers for new games at a rapid pace. There's been plenty of other games where after a week there would be at least 7 servers. Based on that, 5 days between launches isn't really all that bad.

No, they are all pve so far.
