Mammoth mount happens to have a veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy high Defense.
Compare to battle bear's +17%
Not to mention it's a 2-person mount.

eh, that mammoth stats is sucks! i regret i bought it without a 2nd thought. defense +25% while my battle bear gave me 27% def on mdef n mdef. not to mention hp + 7% only n bear gave me 20% extra ? what a fail mount !! i should read 1st and compare before i bought it. geezz... too bad.Comment
