[Announcement] Emergency Maintenance @ 12:30 AM EDT 08/17/2012

We'll be bringing the servers down roughly around 12:30AM EDT, 9:30 PM PDT for an emergency Maintenance. Maintenance is expected to last 1 to 2 hours. This is obviously to fix the issues with the Smooth Criminal event. We're also in the process of changes to our testing department, and with our very special 1 year anniversery events coming up, we want to make sure they go perfectly. However, as that will take sometime, expect to see a light week or two as far as events and activities go.

During this Maintenance, we'll also be adding in a new mount. Details on that to be posted once we're sure that it'll actually work. Now if you don't mind, I have to hop to it and get back to work.

I respect your adoration for R2 GMs. And I don't have anything against you my friend. So why don't you just let us say or express how we feel about this issue? My original post was intended for R2 GMs, not to you. And mind you, in every business enterprise, customers' opinions - no matter how pathetic they may sound - should matter.

Now this will be my last post for this issue, because if you still don't get what I am trying to tell you, then its pointless.

My point was that you were being ridiculously dramatic over a server maintenance. "I'm going to delete my main and quit because you made it so I couldn't play for about an hour while you were fixing something." Just tell me that doesn't make you sound like a pathetic drama queen.

Going back to my server now, dunno if I'll check this thread again or not, but feel free to flame me.

Oh! For those of you looking for a decent substitute game there is Mythic Saga, it's kinda in a "beta" stage right now but it' still damned good. Hopefully R2 will buy rights to that game as well so we don't have to search for it p

Also, the oldest East coast PVP servers are in testing phase now, so it shouldn't be that long before servers are back up.

In theory yes, but then again it can vary in time frame. It can be 6 hours and be only 4 hours instead.
