dilemma on canceling the 'Proposal Quest'

Hi,

Well, I was not able to submit the Proposal Quest for partners because I can't find the option when I talk to the NPC and it's still on my list of Quests. I already have married the guy who proposed, now I want to rebirth to Scion plane but I am worried about the particular quest being abandoned. Is it safe to abandon it when you're already married?

You've married your partner (the title over your head says Wife and not Partner), correct? If that's the case, then something must have happened along the way to the alter, but if you're already married then you don't need the proposal quest anymore and can abandon it.

Yes. The title says XXXXX's wife already.
