If you have a red name then you will drop any unbound, unequipped item you have in your inventory. It warns you of this before you can go into Evil Mode in the first place.

In the future, it would be wise to store items you do not want to lose in your vault or on an alt if your vault is full, or avoid going into evil mode when you have items you want to keep in your pocket.

The item that drops is random. Sometimes you'll only drop a potion, other times you'll drop the most expensive thing in your bag.
