Adding to the suggestions already made here are another few things you could do;
1. If using a wireless router check the signal strength. If you are receiving a bad connection move to a optimal location that allows you a decent connection.
2. Power cycle your Internet/Wireless Modem.
3. Check your internet speed using Speedtest.
4. Check your ISP for any faults.Quick Links
