Actual R2 does not want people advertising to buy/sell vip. Gifting vip, however, is allowed.

It would be illegal should they pay for the vip. However, if it is gifted to them without any form of repayment, it is perfectly ok.

It's quite a stupid issue:
selling/buying vip is illegal. Gifting vip is legal. It's a matter of wordchoice that defines if it's legal or not. "want to be gifted vip, pm me" should be flooding worldchat and an Idon'tknowwhat amount of in-game gold will be the 'thank you' materialised. As legal as can be.
