Your choice,your rules, your game. You can go pure in any class or hybrid in any class the more special your skill build the more diverse information you add to the game. People always choose one build they think or they know is good but all are special in their own way personally I go for undermined classes like retribution knight or blood priest (both pure) but as I said in the early statement your choice.

Play it like its you game,your strength is determined by how you play(cash) and how long you play it

Mages are beast in mass PvP when built right (Also takes some time to build)
Knights have good defense as well as attack, and can tank easily (Can farm earlier and easier)
Priests are ....really bad at PvP but are very helpful in ladder and for buffs (Not recommended for main but for an alt)
Rogues are the most fun class to build and will excel in PvP, however they take time to build up. Dodge should make up for your low def
Rangers are good at 1v1 PvP....dont know much about this class

I would suggest knight if you are a beginner since it is the easiest class to play in my opinion.
