My guildies found the R2 guide for Zodiac a little...lacking, so I'm making one.
Table of Contents:
Part 1: What is the Zodiac System
Part 2: The Quest
Part 3: Epic Zodiac Equipment
Part 4: Lucky Stars
Part 5: Blessing
Part 6: Legendary and Awakened Equipment
Part 7: Putting Gems in Zodiac Equipment
Part 1: What is the Zodiac System
A feature for lvl 50+ characters. You can find the icon next to the guild boss icon. You need to enter a birth date to use it; it will not affect your rewards. It'll just show the corresponding Zodiac for it so it's just for fun/aesthetic purposes.
The Zodiac system offers 3 purposes: a blessing; a star system for experience, drop rate, and items; and an equipment system for which you may want to do the Zodiac quest. This guide will talk about the features in an order meant to make it easiest to understand.
Part 2: The Quest
Every day you get a random Zodiac quest. It is located in the Zodiac window.
The quest will require to kill one of the four bosses:
Zodiac Soul Eater (Sword): Himeng Valley L1 around Plantona (roughly X:107, Y:77).
Zodiac Soul Eater (Clothing): Cragstone L1 around Berta the Anxious Mother (roughly X:141,Y: 17)
Zodiac Soul Eater (Charm): Windshear Peaks L1, middle of Goblin Pest area (roughly X:118, Y:108)
Zodiac Soul Eater (Shield): Glimmering Plains (not Planes, as is mispelled in the quest description) L1, under Orison. (roughly X: 96, Y:50)
Other than having different names, each boss is the same. It's just like fighting Nepenthor. It does decent damage and it has a stun. For newer players, partying with someone stronger is recommended.
Reward:
Completing the quest will give you a Zodiac Enchantment Stone, and a Zodiac shard that matches the boss you killed (Sword quest gives Sword shard, Shield quest gives Shield shard, Charm quest gives Charm shard, Clothing quest gives Armor shard). These two items are used for making equipment, so I guess the next part should be about equipment.
All rewards are tradable.

- You must kill the boss your quest requires to get credit.
- You must have accepted the quest in the Zodiac window. (seriously, I messed up 3 times already because I forgot to accept it and killed the boss for nothing)
- You can party up and everyone gets the kill
- Once you have the quest finished, you hand it in the Zodiac window by clicking "Complete".
- Note: sometimes when you finish the quest, the quest window goes blank. Just reload your character and it'll fix itself.
