So when your char got deleted you also get same rewards right afte zalfee was restored?
If it is about the rewards, I dont care about them, you saying you cant afford to loose one day of farming and so we are too. we already lost two days of no dungeons, no ladder , no etch. It just being fair, emergency maintenance for all server to address the problem. stop being self fish.

Lets make this clear, this is NOT possible if the original character is restored.

I do not think a emergency maintenance is needed. Think they need a list of characters with their acct name and restore them one by one, BUT first need to figure out why this is happening.

As to everyone with deleted characters, do not worry R2 knows about this and are addressing this issue. Be patient your toons will return.

I can verify with Zalfee that it is not possible to claim the rewards a 2nd time with ur after after it is restored. i just tested it and my char was deleted already 2x. Having emergency maintenance will not stop the deletion of characters unless the devs know how the deletions are actually happening.

You have very good idea femy (same as i thought yesterday) but even if servers were brought down to restore deleted chars, unless the root of the problem is not repaired, same character can still be deleted again and again.

I believe zalfee is right also that r2 is already aware of the this problem and today i feel much more at ease that even if my char get deleted again, i will not lose may char thru a hater.

This is something that we all need to get through together and try our best to help one another. We may be enemies during game play, but when something like this happens it is time to put our differences aside in real life and make sure we all come back so we can play the game we all love.

I won't agree or disagree, but i am going to leave this up to R2 and even tho we sometimes think they don't know what they are doing, i have faith they will work this out.

i would agree as it seems they got a server virus maybe someone was trying to modify the databases and they can deal with it only by finding how it got there and what exactly it is, its harder to do that with a running server since db is constantly accessed and modified. as i see some chars already back but they would have to secure that they dont get more deletions as it would mean bringing all the servers down for an uncertain amount of time till they can stop the issue
