Tank Knight Mdef question

hi all,

I wasn't sure whether to post here or in the game discussion forum, but I'll try here first

So, I am a tank knight (mortal, level 72) and have been following Deftron's Tank Knight guide. It's all going well and everything (at least I think), but I noticed this huge gap between my Pdef and Mdef.
My Pdef is at 4000ish (26%) and my Mdef kind of trails behind at 2300ish (24%).

So I was wondering if:
1) is it normal for a tank to have such a difference in Pdef and Mdef? I don't know many tank knights my level on my server, so I don't really have a reference point.

2) is there anything I can do about it? I was thinking of getting more sapphire gems (excellent, superior or should I go for flawless, which might take me ages?), enchanting my necklace & boots more..? or should I focus on Mdef in my soul upgrades?

i think it's ussual..
i got 4,4k pdef 42% and about 3k mdef 38%.. i'm mortal lvl 80
and some tank in our server have pdef and mdef like that,, 28k pdef and 15k mdef =)
that's all i think..
