For the GM Sword only GM's can use it so people can see that they are actually the real GMs and For Soul shards, Soul Shards are collected after you finish ladder, the amount of soul shards you get depends on what level you get to, 1 soul shards per 10 levels. Soul shards are used to upgrade you soul that boosts your stats.IGN: Ariana

It's been explained several times that it's a GM only weapon.
Hence the name "GM Sword"
No one else has it - nor will they ever. Even though they link it, it doesn't mean they know it.
