You need to be certain level to be able to upgrade your wings:

Lvl. 20+ :: Glowing Wings
Lvl. 30+ :: Angel Wings
Lvl. 40+ :: Dual Angel Wings
Lvl. 50+ :: Fire Wings
Lvl. 60+ :: Demigod Wings
Lvl. 70+ :: Angel Lord Wings
Lvl. 80+ :: Demon Lord Wings


Glowing Wings Take 4 Heroic Wings to Upgrade Each time, 4 lvls of upgrade
Angel Wings Take 6 Heroic Wings to Upgrade Each time, 5 lvls of upgrade
Dual Angel Wings Take 10 Heroic Wings to Upgrade Each time, 6 lvls of upgrade
Fire Wings Take Take 12 Heroic Wings to Upgrade Each time, 7 lvls of upgrade
Demigod Wings Take 15 Heroic Wings to Upgrade Each time, 8 lvls of upgrade
Angel Lord Wings Take 13 Ethereal Wings to Upgrade Each time, 9 lvls of upgrade
Demon Lord Wings Take 15 Ethereal Wings to Upgrade Each Time, 9 lvls of upgrade

i suggest that u make ur own estimation on how many star or hw required for each lvl ^^. and also requirement of HW or EW for each class of wing. where to get it, reward for getting a certain lvl.

It depend on the System look at you're upper left corner in you're screen there you can see the "Circle and Square" if those 2 are GREEN then you have a better chance in upgrading anything
