The OP just joined recently, which means his current alt is still a noob, right? Better create new alt with highly awesome name and promise to himself that such name hold meaning so high that he won't regret it even if he dies

And for the record, other MMO that can change the players' name, it's true, there are plenty of them. But it's mostly because of either 1) some sort of compensation due to force merge to avoid two same name in the newly merged server (This happens a lot in WoW cause they have more than 7200 active servers worldwide) or 2) The players' avatars possess highly detailed and distinct appearance to the point that it's easy to differentiate them from other players with exact same gear even without staring at their name (Peek Ultima Online, before that game turned into utter **** 6 years ago)
