If you're referring to linking your coordinates while you are in Ladder while your team mates are not, then yes, it won't work like that.
For maximum efficiency for your party to be lazy, link the coords just right at the NPC before you all enter.

The coordinates can link on chat - it's the fact that you cannot go to that specific location because you're not part of their party - doesn't really matter anyways since you have to be on that specific floor in order to even move with the given link.

One does not simply link their co-ordinates in the Crystal Ladder.

i think he meant linking co-ords so all party members can afk at same coord near the teleporter and wont interfere each other when trying to click npc to go to next lvl. yea it doesnt work in lvl 1...the next point i try linking is at lvl 11 when npc changes loaction..it works from there..dunno about lvls in between.

lol mega. VT, he means when you link the first floor in ladder it just shows "[Crystal Ladder Floor 1]" as text rather than showing [Crystal Ladder Floor 1] as a link.
