Two questions that would better define the answers I will give:
      1: For which dungeon
      2: How much funding

I personally have played multiple types of characters, and naturally since my main is a priest, I love priests. But I'll try to put every class into consideration:
Naturally, buffs would dramatically help. If you can find a scion priest, try asking for buffs. DO NOT SPAM THEM. Some are nice enough to buff, but spamming them, whether in world chat or private message, would not help AT ALL. Politely ask, and hopefully someone would be generous enough to buff you.
Priests: Guardian protection self-buff-increases defense. Self-heal. Low damage however. Very good in dungeons, and generally less demanding for upgrades.
Rogues: VERY low defense. Without buffs, may need Health Orbs. Highest damage output. Most fun in pvp, but very costly in upgrades.
Knight: Depending on build. I went with a DPS knight. Moderate damage, nice defense. Very easy to use, but later in the game very costly to keep.
Ranger: DPS ranger with nature heal. Have a very weak self-heal, but it is nice to have regardless. Moderate-high damage output. (I've never really played this too much, but I personally find this class the most boring)
Mages: HIGH dps. Low defense. Usually build for attacking multiple mobs, mages will do nicely in pvp head on, but in dungeons might have issues with Health Orbs. Needs upgrades.

For me, knights, mages and rangers are my least played character types, so I'm not sure how accurate I am. You can certainly check other people's posts about how to build good skills and stats for dungeons and all that.
Also, you can get PCs from dungeon bosses who are within 5 levels of your character. For example, the indigo blight boss is level 25, so a level 30 character will get PC drops but a 31 will not.

                  Hoped I helped! ^^
Lilies maybe innocent-looking, but try to eat me, and you'll soon find out how bad of a mistake that is.
I never forgive. I never forget.

the best farmers are.. rouge (i use shadow cause its gud for 1on1 but u can use combat too.. combat rouges are awesome in dungeons) and u can use knights(i use protection knight... (for me the damage doesn't matter as long as u kill the boss.. u can also do hybrid knight.. they are gud too)

it depends on whether the main character or alt..
if main character all job is good..

if its an alt then i wouldnt suggest rogue, bcz it pain in the *** to use Health orb
priest is good but take a long time to kill a dungeon boss

mage kill fast but need health orb too

then i suggest nature ranger or dps knight to pc farming

I agree with this idea , but i mostly prefer mages for fast kill x) , just set fire wave to 5 and ice shield 5 <- my opinion
