Ikr i keep checking whether its my internet that is the problem... its signal strength is excellent.
I have 1 question though: Are ALL the servers not working or is it just the server I regularly play in, Evil Beast Sanctuary?

all the servers are haveing issues hun im on cimerian woodlands and i have alts on several other servers and im getting the same error on all of them

its not about the BAR ,Bar means the server is going good but now it is bad because of404 o.O

i think what he was referring to was that stupid bar that appears when you launch the game. The one that you can click the little triangle to minimize it (upwards minimize)

Sure we can all just go and do full maintenance on the network... but you know r2's servers has been giving **** for at least the last 6 months ... they should be the ones who will need to maintenance on THEIR servers not us on our networks ... bet you now most members don't even know how to set up a basic LAN...

I'll say this just this once and have this thread up in order to display it.
I'm fully aware of a vast amount of players receiving the 404 Error as I am one of them. I'm missing out on my dungeons, dailies, EXP, etc.
I understand the frustrations - more than a lot of you may think.
Look, there are players that cannot play at all, while there are others that are still able to access the servers. I'm one of the players that can semi-access the servers.
On a progressive state, we learned that this 404 Error is an intermittent issue.
So, now that I took care of that much, I'll go into detail as to what I really want to say.

There are solutions that will work for players. One temporary fix will not fix EVERYONE but it will fix some.
- Hotspot Shield - it works for some players. It works for me, it works for some others, while for others, it doesn't work at all.
- Performing a DNS Flush - it works for some players - it worked for talys - it didn't work for me and it doesn't work for other players.
- Clearing your browsers cookies/cache/history - it works for some players, it won't work for everyone.
- Browser switching - it works for some players, it won't work at all for others. It works for me. Whenever my Chrome Google receives the error, I can switch to Safari and it will work. When I receive the 404 on Safari, I switch back to Chrome Google and I can play again. Temporary fix - not a permanent fix. I'm not very amused with this temporary fix for me, however, it saves me the trouble of needing to use Hotspot Shield. That's my temporary fix until this is fully resolved.

Do you see what I mean? There are players who will be able to log in when performing ONE of these temporary fixes and there will be some that will not have any of these temporary fixes not work at all.

As I've explained in a previous thread, R2 is under no obligation to provide a compensation as it is stated in their Terms of Service, which all players agreed to when creating an account with Reality Squared Games.

Our Games are subject to scheduled and unscheduled service interruptions and loss of server data, which you do not own and for which you will not hold us liable. R2Games may on occasion need to interrupt the Service with or without prior notice. You agree that R2Games will not be liable for any interruption of the Service (whether intentional or not), and you understand that you will not be entitled to any refunds of fees or other compensation for interruption of service.

I'll say it one more time. I'm not saying you shouldn't expect a compensation pack. There were times in the past where we had servers go down for three hours, six hours, twelve hours and even a day at most. They provided compensation for it. I'm not promising a guarantee you will receive a compensation for servers going down. This has been a very frustrating few days with the 404 issue and it makes me suffer a huge amount on the server I play on. I've lost dungeon attempts and ladder runs.

Without further delay, this thread is now closed. There will be no further threads regarding this topic and I will not take up appeals in opening up this thread again.
