the runes can be gained by not cashing. but the scroll and the rune crystal it doesnt say.. it is good tho

also when you upgrade a rune you need a rune medium. therefore.. its just a cashing system.

lvl1 runes can obtain through mobs. You can use it to synthesis higher lvl of rune. But the other components needed can only be gained through item shop. This means that this Heraldry is for players who got some cash. lol

will only take up about 1 to maybe 4 spots. not sure on the others since the higher level elites still drop the noob rune. so might only take up one slot for non cashers unless there happens to be a event or patch in future after enough players support R2 and suggest things to them. skills for it seem awesome. would love to have them.
for cashers, buying the runes from shop&using protection runes makes things easier, as using no protection can make you lose your rune if fail. try doing your synthing one piece at a time, = one focus. will cut down on items needed or have in your inventory a bit.
personally I like that there is a protection sys, unlike with dragon crystals.

this going to be another obsolete system for non-casher, such as monster handbook

Worse system ever. You have no hope of being able to use this unless you are a casher. Unless the crystals and the mediums can be found in higher level dungeons or some such, it completely tips the balance to those who don't have to pay bills and a mortgage.

And I am an occasional casher when I can afford it. This is ridiculous, might as well change the game to pay to play since only those with lots of cash are going to get any benefit out of it anymore.

NekoMich, i completely understand your pain. However, R2 will see if the majority of the population will get it or not. If 99% of the population doesn't have anything, they will release an event to get them. Hence, the IOB packs which gives Ethereal Wings. Just wait another year or so until they see this.

is there some secret to being able to drag the rune onto the synth screen??? for some reason when open the heraldry screen and click the synth tab, i can no longer click and drag the noob rune....

Upgrading rune from lvl 1 is crazy.

Why I said that ? I've already maxed out all 8 attribute seal, 4 skill seals, 1 special seal in CL , We only used Runes above lvl 8 (Rune of Evil) there to start upgrading , even lvl 8 Runes are only worth 1-2 gold each because the fail rate is too much, most of the top casher just use Runes above lvl 10 because the lvl 10 Rune is being dropped by bosses in Heroic mode dungeons. (This is to make the Rune of God and you need bunch of them)

This is not for casher, this is for super casher like Akuma, Tails, and so on. Of course if you're only aiming to get 1-2 attribute Seals, that won't cost too much, but maxing it out, good luck with that.

Its about $4300 to try cashing all of it. Depending on your luck. if .001% of the player base has this. What is the point? I miss the good old days when you released something like sperion and you could drop 100$ and get all 3 slots or Zodiac and spend $200 and get lvl 5 and be done with it. Celestial Insignia Lvl 10 = $6400? Heraldry Max = $4300 Monster Handbook Maxed $2800
