buying the runes from shop&using protection runes makes things easier, as using no protection can make you lose your rune if fail. try doing your synthing one piece at a time, = one focus. will cut down on items needed or have in your inventory a bit.
personally I like that there is a protection sys, unlike with dragon crystals.

Its a good thing the protection stone but if you fail you lose 1 level its just like enchanting but u need to cash it, what they should do is forget the protection stone and just leave it like enchanting and you lose 1 level per fail cause this way is just a way for them to make cash.

PS: Its not R2 fault they didnt make the system but they could improve it to make it easier for the players but they chose not to so it is there fault I guess.

Its about $4300 to try cashing all of it. Depending on your luck. if .001% of the player base has this. What is the point? I miss the good old days when you released something like sperion and you could drop 100$ and get all 3 slots or Zodiac and spend $200 and get lvl 5 and be done with it. just wondering were you got your numbers. cuz i was thinking about cashing for the heraldry but wanted to get a ball park estimate first

When they release new systems they don't give enough information on them. There should be a very detailed guide for this system. I saw the page they have when they release this system but it doesn't give enough information. I get tired of asking people in game how things work because it never comes across in a way everybody can understand. It doesn't seem like too much to ask to have a detailed guide for a new system. They shouldn't leave it to the mods or players to make a guides. The guides should come with the system. They just released Tenets, a much simpler system, but there still isn't enough information on it, and the amount of wisdom we get from delivery is a joke, and daily hunt takes so much work just running around the map.
