Hello everyone ! Just new in here I wanna know what pet is best for mage and when I become lvl 40 would I use the Epic Ethereal Phantom Set ? Or use the savage one been searching some stuffs for awhile. Thanks your answers are greatly appreciated .

You want a specific pets for specifics task. 2 being the minimum.

Dungeon fights are best done with a Tank pet, such as a Bear with its 25% absorbtion rate.
Angels have mob attack skills like "Damage" and Demons have powerful solo attack skills better for Bosses. Pets with enemy halting skills are great - These can be Charm or Stun.

When entering Bloody Collesium at a proficient enough level to AFK, use a pet with "Drag", this will drag each boss onto your position making the chance at picking up all it drops an almost certainty. Otherwise you can find you have killed the boss as it stood in a corner and you are running in the opposite direction away from the goodies.

Amour: Again Etheral Sets make great dungeoneering outfits and Savage have loads of dodge, hit move; ideal for PvP.

If you are considering going through the Mortal Realm into Scion and Eidolon, you may want to own the level 80 PvP armour set SLAYER which requires you start out with the level 40 PvP set SAVAGE and upgrade. Or you could keep a Purple set of Savage throughout Mortal and Scion levels then upgrade to Slayer once your a level 80 Eidolon. At least that way when you are a Scion and Eidolon having just rebirthed to level 1, you can easily make level 40 and put on your fine amour. Another thing, Savage gear may take higher level gems than etheral level 33 to 53.

Go defensive, like train that little battle bear you get a level 10 high and mighty, or you can always find a way to buy a bone dragon egg and hope you get lucky and get bonosauras and expand from there.....
