Please Clarify 2x drop token

Okay so some people have been telling me that the 2x drop tokens and the zodiac 3x drop rate works on dungeons. they swear up and down that they have gotten more fse(Frageron Soul Essence) and more bse(Blooderon Soul Essence) and Dc(Dragon Crystals) from dungeons than if they didn't have the buffs on. I happen to disagree, i say that it doesnt affect the dungeon drop rates, that it only works on mobs and elites. Can someone please clarify this for me?

the drop tokens only affect the pc drop....if u are with 10lvs higher than a boss and u have 2x from token,drop rate from sperion combo "beast heart" and 3x from zodiac u will get the pc

2x Drop Tokens have no effect in dungeons.

As for the users swearing that it does, drops vary. For example, just yesterday, my main toon picked up 12 Dragon Crystals total from 6 Psycho runs (5 daily + 1 dungeon key). Immediately after my toon was done, I did my alt's Psycho and it received only 2 Dragon Crystals from 8 runs (5 daily + 3 VIP runs). My third alt received 4 Dragon Crystals from 5 runs. I would assume it's by luck (or lack thereof), and the users you speak of who happen to gain more in dungeons were coincidentally using the 2x Drop Token, therefore believing it to be a result of that when it isn't.

The drop token works for me in dungeons, I haven't used any for almost a weeks time and I have got all from 0-2 from five psycho runs
and today I finally got the x2 drop token from zodiac and used it... that game me 7 DCs from five runs + a **** ton extra of the gems.

I have tested it out so many times already, I don't care what other people tells me- it works for me so of course I will continue using it once I get the chance to.

Unless you keep a record of say 2 months of runs with and without drop modifiers you cant definitively make a conclusion
I use to always run beast combination 7 in my sperion with a 2x drop token while my friend always ran without drop modifiers
after 6 months he had a higher total of dcs than I did

I tried repeating the experiment a few months ago on 2 alts farming psych for 2 months and they both averaged at 3ish dcs per day
many people in my server believe they don't work period

I have however noticed that they do affect level penalty based drops specifically pcs
I use to run an indigo alt farm and when they hit 32, a drop token nearly retained a 100% drop rate on pcs whereas without the probability dropped noticeably

lol DCs ... i dont know what you are all talking about but Based on my experience as a CS player . WHen i go to dungeon like RV NM ( my highest level char so far is only 60) idont use 2xdrop i get 2HW per Boss but when iuse 2xdrop iget higher drops like 3-5Hw. so i think is Multifly the number of dropped items not the drop rate and i think i does not apply to Pc and rare items like FSE .

I honestly don't think sperion and x2 or even 3x from zodiac affects dungeons. Just regular mobs but there are times that i get such low DC amounts that is crazy.

There's this little thing called "LUCK" and, oddly enough, no matter what kinda nonsense that R2 have put forth (like drop tokens or that godawful enchanting system. The indicator clearly says 65% chance of success and yet you keep failing over and over again, goddammit!), there's freaking no way to measure it nor any chance to understand how it actually works. It's the same as leaving your very life to crappy doctor in spite of paying with your every fortune.

Unless you're lenient enough to bother with this nonsense in which case, good luck. I'll go back to sleep once again

mods cant give u any better response than these posts from other players. mods dont have access to information regarding the game engine or other game mechanics. al lthey can do is give opinions based on experiences. id be really shocked if the company can even give a proper description of how they work and if they could have a proper Q&A session with players. they dont know much

The confirmed answer, as in confirmed by the devs ages ago, is that the drop rate modifiers increase the drop rates for mobs. Drop rates affect every drop from a mob, so if a mob has, for example, a 2% rate to drop a gem, and a 5% chance to drop equipment, using 2x Drop Token will make that mob have a 4% chance to drop a gem and a 10% chance to drop equipment, pretty much just increasing your chances of a drop. Drop rate modifiers do not affect boss drops as they are not classified as mobs in the drop tables.

It would work on dungeon mobs, but not dungeon bosses.
