Make sure the size of the image is correct before you attempt to upload a profile picture. The sizes are as follows: 100x100 -or- 64.0KB. -

Only staff have images activated in their signatures, so you won't be able to place a picture there. As for background, are you referring to your profile background? If so, you'll have to tinker around with the settings as customizing profiles vary between each user.Comment

Are you talking about the main R2Games page profile picture?
There had been always an error in putting up a profile picture there, even I myself can't seem to place one.
In here though, you may place an "avatar" that's the size of 80 x 80 pixels. (Though by the death of me, I could not figure out how the others place a 100 x 100 image). Images in signatures though, are limited only to forum moderators, GMs, and administrators (As stated by Reverie), since others might place vulgar or images that's a whooping 1000 pixels. Go to your inbox and look to the left of your screen you will see "Edit Signature" simply type in your IGN and whatever else you want in there.
