trading gear with bound gems?

well can it be done? i found a staff for a guildy but im lacking in emeralds, i have a shining coupon, so im wondering if you can trade non-bound gear fitted with bound gems.

and yes i used the search feature, couldnt find an answer.

Nope. Adding a bound gem binds the equipment. t'd be an excellent hack f you could though...and therefore it isn't allowed

you could always trade some gems that aint emeralds to emeralds.... or buy em'!!!!
