You can make gold in-game by selling items to other players, selling items to vendor NPCs (picking up gear from dungeons and selling them for what they're worth), and doing events like Chambers of Fate, Seed of Life, etc. -
Grind for rare items like MC from Daily Hunts or DC from dungeons. You could also exchange for GMUTs at the General and sell them, as they also have a high value. However, if your server is dying like mine, then you probably want to hop to, as last time i saw it for sale DC dropped about 20g, GMUTS by 5g, and MC prices just fluctuate wildly from 20 to 30g. Getting money is not hard to do, all you have to do is watch to see which items are becoming scarcer and which ones more players are selling.
