Well basically, yes they do own the game. No they did not, or were not the ones who made the game.
The original version of Crystal Saga is the Chinese version. Then it goes to the European version, South East Asia version, and so on.
Each version has a contract agreed upon that they can only add this kind of event times, etc. etc.

oh and in addition to my last post, all of the servers are stateside so for PI and others around the world it's laggy as hell and most of the time the framerate/ping is terrible even on a westcoast server. so switching servers isn't feasible in most cases.

Alas I know how much you guys would love to experience the events as people from other parts of the world do, but... (I do not want to repeat myself). That.

In fact I am from the Philippines, sengolia goes for me at 6am and 10am.
Fortunately in my case I do have free time around 10am (if they don't end it so quickly), but I do not like waking up 6am in the morning from the comfort of my bed just for sengolia ahaha.

Dudes, I already asked this kind of question and a MoD answered me that if you're from Philippines, you should pick US West PvP or US West PvE to suit our time.

I'm american but in Guam so around same time as the PI people for seng. it sucks. How is it against a contract for them if they own the game? they could create more instances and more event times if they wanted to, especially since yes the majority of these servers have pinoy players on them. It may be an american game but I guarentee there is at least 50% pinoy on each of these servers. every server I've played on WC has been filled with tagalog instead of english. It's annoying to read it on a US game if you don't understand the language.

Because their contract is to host the game within American Times - not alter any changes that deal with the times of what the original game has been hosting since the release of it.

Signing a contract to host the game is different from a contract that states full ownership of the game itself.
R2 is still limited to what they can, and cannot do.
