That happens to me sometimes when the connection becomes too laggy. Only thing that fixes it for me is clearing cache/cookies (yes, seriously) and then waiting a few minutes. Make sure you have as few programs running on your computer as possible as that also seems to affect it.

I don't think people realize it may not even be about the flash player...

Like I said, that happens to me and I keep my flash player updated, but when it lags (both connection and computer), sometimes it'll miraculously forget the flash player exists lol. Like I'll actually be playing CS and i'll DC, then refresh and it'll tell me to get flash - and when I check I find out I still have the most up to date version.

If that's what the OP is experiencing, then it's about the connection being slow and/or doing too much on the computer, thus causing too little ram to be available for flash.
