all endur, solid protection, heavy on ice and heart soul; be sure to get advantage as high as you can, that atk boost is the biggest basic one of them all as far as i've seen.

Protection trees skill.
Max Earth's Blessing, Improved Earth's Blessing & Steroid.
And if you still havent maxed your reduction, would be better if you max Titan Guard skill also it would helps alot to reduces incoming damage.
The rest skills is up to you, those skills I told you are just skills that you need to be tanker.

If you're low leveled and not enough on tenets and good equips go retrib. Bloodlust is a passive hp-stealing skill which will help you in a lot of ways in terms of survivability. If you're pretty much strong that you dont need to steal hp anymore, and you have the patk to kill almost everything within 10 seconds(That includes lvl 66 and 70 ladder), go protection. The Eido skill is heavily OP and is nasty :P

I suggest you to choose Bloodlust (each attack restore your hp), this is the best for PVE since you're still scion and need to farm stuff from dungeons. it would helps you alot.
The other skill is a reflects damage skill.

Go full strengh with a defense sperion. wont make your atk low while still gaining 5k+ defense from maxed sperion.
